Knitting with the Sisters: The Prayer Shawl Ministry
Prayer shawls are knit by anyone in the Visitation community, be they experienced or novice knitters. The knitter prays for the unknown recipient every time she picks up her needles; so the finished shawl is laden with prayers. The shawls are distributed to Sisters, alumnae/i, students, faculty or staff members who are coping with a serious illness. The shawls provide the recipients with comfort and surround them with a tangible presence of the prayers and support of the Visitation community.

Alumnae Missing Photos
The Alumnae Photo Project will not be complete without the pictures of the nine alumnae listed below. This number is amazingly low considering that Visitation has over three thousand graduates, spanning a one hundred twenty-eight year history. If you are a family member or friend of a family member, of one of these individuals and have a graduation photo or individual picture at the approximate age of high school graduation, please contact the Visitation Alumnae Office at 651-683-1757. All photographs will be scanned and returned.
